„Drop by Dropâ€, an exhibition of posters on water shortage and resource efficiency, will be exhibited from 12 September until 20 September at the NCM Office in Latvia, 13/3 Marijas (Bergs Bazaar) in Riga. The purpose of the exhibition is to draw attention to the looming water crisis we are all facing. The exhibition shows 20 of the best contributions to a competition organized by the United Nations (UN) where the participants had to create print advertisements for preservation of water – now and for future generations. More than 3500 contributions were submitted and you can see them all at www.dropbydrop.eu The competition was part of “The Future We Want†– a global UN campaign leading up to the Rio+20 Conference on sustainable development held in June 2012. „Drop by Drop†is an initiative of the UN Regional Information Centre (UNRIC), in partnership with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP)and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, with the support of the Nordic Council of Ministers and Grundfos, one of the world’s leading pump manufacturers and suppliers of innovative water solutions.
