The Nordic Council of Ministers’ Office in Latvia and NordForsk on 31 August and 1 September in the “Glass Hall” of Hotel Bergs, Riga, will organize the International Workshop on Societal Security Research. The aim of the workshop is to develop a possible international research cooperation to understand the current debates on societal security in the Nordic and Baltic countries. How do we foster research collaboration in the region? What are the themes to focus on? What research methods should be encouraged? What research infrastructure is needed to support this research? Experts of the Societal Security field will discuss where are the needs and challenges on the topic from a stakeholder’s perspective and how a NB8 research cooperation can fill these gaps.
Attendance is by invitation only.
