A regional project Baltic Roadtrip 2019 is an international short-term project for youngsters from border zones of the Baltic States that will take place on October 23 – 30, 2019. The project is organized and implemented by 3 EUNIC clusters from Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia and financed by the EUNIC Global in Brussels, the Representation of the European Commission in Latvia and Estonia and the local EUNIC Cluster members.
The project will be launched on the 23rd of October in Vilnius which will be the starting point of a one-week bus trip for 24 youngsters from Šalčininkai (Lithuania), Daugavpils (Latvia) and Valga (Estonia). The participants will travel through the three Baltic cities where they together with European experts will learn about and think creatively around three different but nevertheless complementary topics: ‘Cultural and Historical Heritage’ in Šalčininkai, ‘Active Participation and Initiatives’ in Daugavpils and ‘Urban Planning and Youth Engagement’ in Valga. The trip will end with a wrap-up event in Riga on the 30th of October.
