The Nordic Council of Ministers has opened a new round of applications for the programme for NGO co-operation in the Baltic Sea Region. The aim is to encourage initiatives that will build capacity and strengthen networks through activities such as informing each other of experiences and best practices. The application deadline is April 27th 2020.
The overall objective of the programme is to promote co-operation between Nordic, Baltic, Polish, Belarusian and Russian NGOs to underline the key role that NGOs play in building networks and cross-border co-operation in the Baltic Sea Region. The programme has existed since 2006, and NGOs are invited to apply for funding from the programme for international co-operation projects.
The NGO programme has allocated DKK 3.8 million to fund projects in the whole of the Baltic Sea Region, including The Nordic countries, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Poland and Belarus.
